We currently operate this trailer ourselves as we learn everything we can about the entertainment and event space and how to properly market our services. An exact replica can be built for your city. Hello! We're Scott & Gabriella Mosteller, parents to three wonderful kids. Our journey began with a passion project turned successful business called Hello Penny Bar. What started as a DIY mobile bar for our wedding evolved into a beloved local service, offering unique beverage experiences at weddings, parties, and events.

After years of joyous celebrations, we sold Hello Penny Bar in 2020 to focus on our growing family. 4 years later we wanted to build another trailer business, but with a different focus.

Why We Did This

With parenthood came new inspiration. Seeing our kids' love for basketball and the joy it brought them, we envisioned a new venture in the event rental space focused on children's entertainment. Surprisingly, there was a gap—there was no such thing as a mobile arcade basketball trailer… why not? Drawing on our entrepreneurial spirit and experience, we set out to fill this void. Thus, in June 2024 Hoop San Diego was born. A custom solution designed to bring the thrill of basketball right to your doorstep.

We want each operator to feel like they have room to expand. If we sign you in your city, we will NEVER sell another trailer in your territory. That tends to be around a 100-mile diameter. If YOU want to own multiple trailers you certainly can and we encourage you to do so.
A Hoop Trailer is $60,000 + shipping to your destination. Shipping is pretty affordable though, $2.00/mile. We have 3 ways to finance these trailers now. Cash model, seller financing model and a loan offer. Once the trailer is purchased, it is $250/mo for the licensing. You can read more about our Pricing here.
This is not a franchise. Franchises are way more expensive, have a lot more red tape, take years to establish AND they take profits from the operators. We do not do that. If you make $50k renting out your trailer in 2025, you keep all of it. This is a licensing opportunity allowing allowing you to run your own trailer your way.
We are working on lowering our production time as much as possible. Right now it is around 4 weeks to build and deliver you a trailer. Depending where we are in the process and how much inventory we have, it could be much faster.
No, we are very transparent about our pricing. We will pay for the domain name, website hosting, email address, google my business listing, slack channel access, etc.
Once you are an operator, yes! And we encourage you to do so. Give one to your neighbor, cousin, friend, brother, dad, etc. We want there to be 4-6 trailers per location. But they will all be ran by you and can only be purchased through you. Again, exclusive!
Yes, you do. Since this is a licensing opportunity, we don’t own any part of your trailer or your business. The trailer gets registered to you or your business. You form your own LLC, you create your own trademark (optional) etc. If you decide to sell your business, you get all that money. All we ask is that the new owner continues to pay the $250/mo fee (plus $100/mo per additional trailer you may have).
Maybe! Go to the locations tab at the top of the website. If you see your city in that list, then yes, there is a Hoop trailer in your city. If you don’t see one, then good news for you! That territory is still wide open and a location can be established there. Move quickly, we are filling up the US fast with Hoop Trailers.
Of course! You will get a duplicate website just like the other locations you see. I will manage your website, forever. It is all part of the monthly fee you pay to keep things running smoothly on the digital side and you can focus on running your business and fulfilling the events.
We are “Patent Pending” as of April 2025 with the USPTO (Unived States Patent and Trademark Office). It is a federal agency within the U.S. Department of Commerce responsible for granting patents and registering trademarks. We have our utility patent filed and are now waiting final approval.
